Awarded Tannery Dusini founded in 1830
In 1830 the Dusini family founded in Cles, in Trentino - Alto Adige, a small tannery specialising in vegetable leather. In the 20s the company expanded with the building of the Historical Dusini Tannery. Meanwhile, the shoemakers business started and with the shoes retail sales increased.
The Ditta Pio Dusini exceed brake that World War II gave to consumption and in 1945 trade in the wholesale footwear, leather and accessories for shoemakers resumed regularly and there was a further extension.
The company, which Pio Dusini had strongly transformed at the beginning of the last century from artisan to industrial, assumed such national importance with vast and solid ramifications of its business in Italy and abroad (1955- 1975). Ditta Pio Dusini, always rooted in the territory and in the local community, has distinguished itself over the years for laudable social responsibility initiatives, such as credit to customers and employees and support for local associations
This ethic has always characterized the identity and therefore the management of the company that can count on eight generations of experience gaining a strong respect from the community and its stakeholders.
